Friedman's Freshmarkets at 210 Greater Butler Mart, Butler, Pennsylvania.

I would suggest not shopping from this Friedman's (the one in town seems to be fine, though!)
I regularly have to check the dates on frozen foods to make sure they're not expired. Recently I bought some food that was expired (All the way back in July -- and this was bought in early January, or mid December).. emailed the GM, he told me that the package had the date wrong, and that the food was fine to eat!...
I contacted the manufacturer and they told me that no, it was not in fact fine to eat, and that the date was 100% correct.
At the end of it all, the GM wrote back "Thank you Dan for the picture of the item. I'm sorry I misunderstood you on what the item actually was. Once again, I apologize for the outdated product that you purchased. Like I said before, if you have any other issues please feel free to call me at the store. Sincerely, Don Eury, Store Manager"
So I got an apology after he tried to get me to eat expired meat, and no offer of a refund or otherwise.
It's not just the fact that I wasted $5 on some sausage -- its the fact that it was expired, allowed to sit in the store for half a year, and the GM doesn't seem to care.
Also, do not buy from the "discount" frozen food part -- it's almost entirely consisting of expired foods.
